West
Park Baptist Summer Day Camp
You can help
make your child(ren)'s summer camp experience more enjoyable. Here is
more information you should be aware of.
Camp Fees
We endeavor to offer the best possible program for the lowest price
possible. We understand the great demand upon today's family incomes and
we will continue to offer our camp program without seeking financial profit.
We view our camp as a ministry and service to the community. References
are available.
What to
Wear
Shoes, sandals, slacks, jeans, long shorts that are below fingertip
length. For swimming, girls must wear a modest one-piece lined swimsuit.
What Not
to Wear
GIRLS: No short shorts, halter tops, mini skirts, bare midriff tops, French
cut, extreme low cut or bear midriff swim suits.
BOYS: must wear a shirt except when in pool area, no short shorts.
EVERYONE: No shirts or clothing that reflect or advertise anti-Christian
products, philosophies or characters. Once camp shirt is supplied. Additional
shirts may be purchased.
What to
Bring
Towels, one-piece swimsuit, lunch, snacks and a GOOD attitude! Label all
clothes, towels, bathing suits, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc. The children
are responsible for putting their belongings (all of them) back into their
backpacks when finished with them for the day. However, anything left
behind will end up in "Lost and Found". WPBC will only keep
the lost articles for one month. They will then be donated to local charities.
Ergo, please check the Lost and Found table daily and take home what belongs
to your child(ren). Thank you for your cooperation.
Please do
not have your child keep money or any other personal items in their backpacks/or
lunch boxes. Items can get lost or stolen, if you are sending money with
your child have them give it to the front desk worker so they many secure
it for them.
Medications
Any medications sent to the camp must be in the original container and
must be accompanied by a note indicating the proper dosages and times
and a signed permission to administer to the camper.
Do Not
Bring
Video games, radio, any personal music/media playing devices, inappropriate
literature, cell phones, weapons, etc. The church camp staff reserves
the right of determination in the above cases.
